I've just read Mickey's blog and wouldn't you just know it - great minds think alike......

It looked such lovely dry weather, that I made up my mind to cut the grass before it got too unmanageable to cut it........

See what I mean - it could be a field with all those daisies out and the odd dandelion popping his head up above the parapet.............

So I got out the lawn mower and my trusty plastic chair and proceeded to cut the top lawn in style........ Sitting down cutting the grass.....LOL

There are some clumps of primroses growing in the grass, so I've been very careful to cut around the flowers.....

Now and again I'd sit down on the bench and look at the new flowers etc growing in the pots [Fred the Shed planted them out for me in October].

They have really made a beautiful display and it's wonderful just looking out my lounge window and seeing these gorgeous flowers.............

I noticed too that there are some places in the flower bed which would be perfect to sow my new Miracle Gro wild flower seeds......

So tomorrow I'm going to start raking it over [well that's the plan] and the sow the seeds........ hopefully my back will be okay for me to do it...........

At last I'd finished my lawn cutting and it does look so much better now........

The lilac bushes/trees are really starting to grow - so quickly - you could almost sit down and watch them grow.............

The dark purple - sorry it's a tad blurred - it was very windy and it kept moving while I was trying to take its picture - very inconsiderate.................

The white one is almost out too. No scent just yet - maybe later on.......

The bluebells are an amazing colourful display - maybe the wet summer and mildish winter has encouraged them................

I noticed some creepy crawlies too...........

This small bee was thoroughly enjoying himself on the dandelion.......

The other bee had not only a very fluffy body, but really hairy legs - he needs waxing........

Okay folks, that's enough for today - I'm shattered, but in a good way really - after having cut the grass etc. Hope you've all had a great day too.
