Poor Mandi has the flu

Poor Mandi has got the flu apparently. I'm not surprised really, what with all the stress, the horrendous amount of travelling, and now this awful disappointment over Dogan not getting his visa, is enough to send her way down. Her immune system isn't too good anyway what with having cancer etc. So she has been forced to stay in bed but is being fussed over by Dogan, who is subject to her every whim.

She is going to come home within the next two weeks but unfortunately not with her husband. I was looking forward to Christmas, but not now. I'm going to have a very sad girl with me.

Still try to have a nice Christmas... Hopefully it won't be a long parting and if you're sad Mandi will take from that.. You have to put a cheery face on and make the best of it. Tony and his almost wife will be there so there's that. With their good news they'll want happy faces.. She'll be alright.. There will be many Christmas's. It's really just another day. And you can tell her that there are many of us all over wishing for good things for her and Dogan so she has that going for her.. Not much but the best prayers and wishes going in her direction certainly can't hurt and just might help!

Mandi has said that she'll be home within the next two weeks and stay until after Tony's wedding on March 1st.. I've told her to stay with me until the New Year, so I can look after her and Boo is already here

So sorry to see she's ill now. It must be quite a wrench knowing she's coming home without him. Hope she feels better soon, and that they can sort things out.

Yes this is definitely something we hadn't envisaged at all. I fully expected to have seen him here in my home by now. I really hope they will change their minds when Mandi and Dogan appeal.
