Ann & Peter's garden is definitely a spring garden. The flowers are just so beautiful and as for the primroses - there are hundreds of them. Between you and me - I swear they've been over to my garden and dug some of mine up!!!! But don't tell them I think this.

The sun came out this afternoon - not for long mind you - and I just had to take some photos of their garden to show you.

As you can see the primroses are just everywhere - that gate leads into my garden/house. They very kindly inserted the gate so they could pop over to see me and vice versa. Mind you I have to negotiate a steep step to get up there!!......

They are all around the apple tree, in the grass and now and again a tulip pokes its head out to see what's going on.........

Then they have gathered in a good amount and look absolutely gorgeous with their bright red colour...............

Ann has really outdone herself this year - the whole garden is a picture........

This is a view from the other end of the garden - isn't it a typical English country garden?

You can see the gorse poking its head out at the back of the last picture. I could smell this fantastic scent and didn't realise how gorgeous the scent of gorse is...... it was almost like vanilla. Fabulous................

The grape hyacinth was sprouting out all over the place. A lovely splash of blue against all the yellows and reds.............

Then I came back to my garden and discovered that a lot of my bluebells are blooming too. Hopefully when the sun comes out again, they will really stand out.....

Then some of my own tulips are starting to open their petals and they are gorgeous........

They are really lovely and at least there is a small patch of colour on my driveway. I just wanted to share these gorgeous hints of spring with you all.
