October 2009

Friday October 2nd, 2009 at 06:32PM

I've taken a job in Fort McMurray, Alberta for 6 months. It's about 1100 kilometers north of Summerland, but they will fly me in and out every month, provide me with a furnished apartment with all amenities, and a pickup truck to drive. I couldn't really say no. Winters here can be cold with temps dropping to -40C in January, but I have to right clothes, and can look forward to a wonderful spring back home in Summerland. I will be trying for some photos of the Northern Lights as they are a regular occurance in this area. I will update my new album, Fort McMurray as I can.

...wow, I had no idea! So, what´s happening to Kramer then, did you take him with you or are the neighbours taking care of him? You could also send him over here, I wouldn´t mind! ;) ...And hey, I´m sure Kramer wouldn´t mind getting to know some German mice - totalliy different in taste I guess! ;)

I'm actually home in Summerland today, and will fly back in 2 days. On the flight down, a woman had a cat in a carrier on her lap, so I will try and take Kramer back with me.
Lots of people want to look after him, that's for sure. He is well loved by many! :-))
