Cue Steely Dan's "Home at Last"
International travel is torture if you are any taller than about 1.5m. I am closer to 2m and spent a very uncomfortable night folded into a narrow space jetting through the upper atmosphere in a thin walled cylinder trying not to think too much about the physics of it all. I don't like flying. Think I may stick to ships in future like the late great Leo McKern.
But we got to Brisbane, distributed a few gifts (scotch, silk, lens, camera, respectively to my 4 kids) and then drove up to Toowoomba where we pretty much slept the next 24 hours. Two days back at work and it'll be Easter and I can sleep some more.
I have quite a few rolls of film to process. Mostly black and white 120 rolls and colour 35mm. That will take a while. I have decided to only host film photos here on ipernity. One must maintain some standards after all. The only exceptions will be photos of gear - "camera porn".
Over on my flickr site you can find my digital photos. And I still do take quite a few digital photos. I have in fact decided to re-finance my pro account over on flickr. It's worth it to me to do so.
So - while you are waiting for some film photography to come along - here's a little snap through the window of one of those wonderful secondhand camera shops in Seoul. This one was in Chungmuro. If you follow the link to flickr, there are a couple more shots of Leicas and a nice Nikon rangefinder adjacent in the stream.
