Yunoyama Onsen

Frozen Water Pond

Went to Yunoyama onsen today in Mie Prefecture with my son on the train and then walked up the mountain about 30 minutes to get to a hot spring hotel. It was cold and the water in this small pond was frozen.

It's a public holiday here in Japan - Adult's Day - when 20-year-olds celebrate their new-found freedoms to smoke, drink and get drunk.
