OK, so I've just taken delivery of a lovely load of negs (well OK, some very average negs), and they shall form the basis of the first pics that I'm posting exclusively on ipernity. Everything else on here so far has been copied over from Flickr. Let's see how long I can resist the temptation to go Flickr-whoring for comments ;)

Seriously though, I'm definitely liking the vibe over here. Now if we could just get some groups going....

'flickr-whoring' lol! Some people are going back for that, playing both sides. Even without groups I find this site is keeping me busy.

BTW, there are some interesting blog discussions around and some are using the blog function for 'group' types of threads.

That's a good idea. I've been doing the same, posting mostly new stuff here but weaning myself off the other site slowly. There are still other contacts there who like to have the photos viewed faved etc so its not so easy to just pull the plug. You're right about the vibe here...it is more low key, quiet without feeling dead.
