A couple of weeks ago i started to gather some information about drum software. The reason was simply that i needed to find a way to record ideas while i was playing my guitar and get a better picture of what my ideas could sound like when at band practice next time.
So i started to record my guitar ideas with Cubase, which i had been using for a quiet a while already, and got DFH (Toontrack´s Drumkit From Hell) which sounds just like a real drummer if you know how to handle the settings.
Really stoked about what sounds i could get out of my computer now with just me programming the drums and recording my guitar, i had an idea!
After hours and hours at the computer... Adding stuff to the allready recorded tracks... Taking tracks away again, and adding others later again... editing the drums again and again... Limited to my own ideas... I thought:
Why not put this up here on the internet and let people give me some input about the sound that i recorded so far?!
1st of all you really gotta like heavy guitar music, because thats what i like and most likely no matter what your input will be like it will turn out heavy, at least in some way.
2nd, dont just give me shit or props but let me know what exactly should be different (guitar sound, speed, drum sound, the structure of the song (verse, chorus, guitar fills, drum fills, breaks), at what exact time position in the song etc...
... you gotta give me some creative input!
here is "Audible Experiment - Audio version #1", its just drums and guitar so far, once the song has a bit more structure i will and bass guitar. Hit me up:
Audible Experiment - Audio version #1
This is an experiment! As soon as i have version #2 i will post it here...
