I've been reading today about all the myriad problems they're having over on Fl*ckr still and all the new ones as well. They are literally imploding right in front of our eyes over there! All right. I just opened my news page and I can't find anything because it's been totally changed around and revamped. There was nothing wrong with it before, so why was it changed? I uploaded an image, 3 megs. in size and it uploaded about the usual speed. Now, it's "processing" and so far, it's taken over 16 minutes and still not past 0%. Normally it takes anywhere from 3 to 5 seconds for a picture to process for me. Has anybody else encounter this strange glitch?

A couple days ago, I had a very rude user of Fl*ckr tell me this about Ipernity: "No one uses it and they haven't made any effort to develop the site." How arrogant that statement was! I seem to be having a problem with Ipernity. I just uploaded an image and when I try to click on it to open it up and add a description, I got the message shown below - "Access Restricted." Why is my own photo restricted to me? When I click on the "sign in" link, it doesn't actually work or take me to the sign in screen. When I load my photostream, the image I just uploaded is not there. Then when I refresh the page, it IS there. Then when I refresh the page again, it's NOT there. This is…

Ipernity is still suffering from the Flickr disease. Apparently they had another relapse, about 13 hours ago with the news page "enhancements." Leave things alone already! Or better yet, how about making them totally customizable by us so that we can set them up exactly like we want them to be. Not how you would like them to be and have you keep "improving" them all the time and changing it to something else again and again..

Just a short note to say that, since joining Ipernity on May 27th, 2013, this day of September 28th, I passed over the 1,000 views of my photos mark. And in this short amount of time, I have already met new friends and seen a lot of great photos from other members of Ipernity. This type of community works and it seems to work well. Keep up the good work, Ipernity crew!

Anybody that has seen my photostream is probably aware that I have a large amount of cameras and that I try to post an image of each one of them to Ipernity. It's not that I'm trying to brag or anything like that, but what you may not have noticed is that I try to also post at least one image taken with that camera as well. Well, it's almost midnight here in Southern Illinois and that means 2014 will be here very shortly. I also just noticed that my picture views has topped 3,000. Thanks, everybody, for making me feel so welcome here at my new home! This third thousand views took about three days less than it did to reach the 2,000 plateau, so, it's getting faster and faster all the time. As I grow on here, it appears that Ipernity is growing right along with me. Good luck, Ipernity!

I want to thank all my friends and contacts here on Ipernity for viewing my photos. It makes a photographer feel good to know that people are looking at their images. I'd also like to report that for my first thousand views, it took 4 months and a day to reach that level. However, for my second thousand views, it has taken only 1 month and 18 days. Thank you everyone.! Plus, I have to say that it's nice to be able to see so many other great photographs posted by my friends and contacts.…

I find that my pictures get the most views from "Anonymous." I wish there was a way to turn them off or to be able to filter them out so that more than three-quarters of the people that view my photos weren't unknown. I'm not asking for a lot of views, just meaningful views.
