Canary Islands in October 2008.

We had to take our ship to Las Palmas in Canary Island In November 2008 for some repairs. We have been in Las Palmas many times before but I have never given my self time to drive around the Island to take pictures, so I decided to do that this time around. I rented a car on a Sunday and drove around the Island for 12 hours shooting everything in sight. The weather was very nice and the landscape was magnificent so I enjoyed this drive very much.

If any of you will go to Las Palmas in the future I recommend you take a drive around the Island like I did. If you are staying on the south part of the Island you should follow the road by the sea to the west all the way to Las Palmas. The drive from Las Palmas to Maspalomas by the highway is boring so I recommend you drive up to the mountains from Las Palmas and over the island down to where you started. A trip like that takes the whole day if you are not in too much of a hurry.

I have already posted many photos from that trip but I was always going to post more but I never got to it. I have decided to finish what I started and post the rest of my photos from that trip now.
