Apology

I just wanted to thank all of you who have visited and commented on my work. I also wanted to apologize for not being prompt with responding to the comments you left. I have been swamped with work--yes unfortunately I have to work for a living :) Please be patient as I learn to navigate and get used to this great site--it is hard to teach an old dog new tricks but eventually it will be successful.

Anyway this is a great site and so far I must say it feels a lot friendlier than that other one--you all know which one don't you?

Have a fantastic day, evening or night all and I will certainly respond to your comments.

Cheers.

It feels great

Well, just a few minutes ago I clicked the button that says "delete my account" on flickr. I must say it felt really good doing that. There are certain things in life that are worth standing up for and the most important one of them is freedom: freedom of thought, freedom of speech, freedom of expression, etc...

I hope as I am settling in here that I won't have to do the same thing here.

Anyway, this episode is behind me now and I have to get busy to channel this negative energy and anger into something beautiful and creative.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Dada Poem

I can't say precisely why but the following is one of my favorite Dada poems. Written by Tristan Tzara, I think it really captures the essence of Dadaism. I hope you can enjoy it. Please go beyond the words which are picked at random and are in a sense meaningless.

Tristan Tzara

Quoted in dada art and anti-art by Hans Richter
