Soft light/diffuser doityourself ideas.

Thursday August 16, 2007 at 11:51AM

http://www.viivilla.se/gordetsjalv.asp?articleid=841 This got me started, it's all in swedish so ill round up what ill be cooking tonight:

- Two 30cm round pieces of plywood.

- Scissors

- One tube of glue.

- One back of an old white shirt.

- One drill with a 6mm drillbit.

I expect I need a hole in one of the plywood pieces to get the lamp cord through, preferrably in the middle. Then I need to cut a square piece of the back on one of these old white shirts never used in the cupboard. Then its off to some fancy sowing of edges if im not too lazy. Time for some gluing together, oh crap! Where do I stick the lamp in now when its all glued together? I'll figure it out.

If I do'nt burn down the house or something I will get back to you on the result.

Please feel free to spam me with more brilliant ideas.

Greetings from Dublin!

PS. More crazy ideas coming regarding tissue paper and aluminium foil for lighting.

Sniðugur þessi ljósakassi :) Það er aldrei að vita nema ég útbúi svona stúdíó á meðan ég er hérna á sjónum og fari að gera tilraunir :)

UPDATE: IF you have old wire hangers and a sowing machine there is absolutely no use for plywood, tools or glue. Workshop weekend coming up! :)
