Time Marches On.

N140JR DC3 Opa Locka Miami, USA.
N140JR DC3 Opa Locka Miami, US…

Cold, Cold, Cold here in Lakewood with some heavy rain and more on the way. And that’s the weather report for tonight. People wise, Robert is fine, Cliff is fine and I’m fine. Robert had a soccer game to play this past Sunday afternoon so we went to that and had a lot of fun until the rain came pouring in like a big leak in the sky. However they played it out and sad to say his team lost this one, oh well next time. We later took him out for super sized burgers which he loves along with French fired onions and a super large Coke. He doesn’t have all of this very often so we let him enjoy something this day and he was in a good mood after.

I remember when I was a kid and something went wrong for me I’d get all moody and just go off to be with myself. My parents would do what they could to bring me out of it and so did my brothers, but as a rule I just came out of it on my own at some point. Now I have Cliff to help me out when ever something gets me down and I do the same for him. We never let Robert see if there is something wrong, well maybe little things but never anything to large if it comes up which isn’t all that often at all. And when it does we always make it up in bed later.

We went on day light savings time last week and it takes forever for me to adjust to it, The sun still shinning at eight o’clock at night just doesn’t work for me. I go more for telling time by the suns location then a watch, but that all changes at day light saving time. When I think it should be about five o’clock it’s really seven o’clock and so on.

I started this a few days back so now I'll see if I can complete it. Other then more and more rain and freezing cold weather and more rain on the way that part hasn't changed any. I've been cleaning out a ton of CD's, Zip Disk and other crap old my computer to see if In can speed it up some, so far it seems to be helping.

One of our channels run The Three Stooges here on Friday evenings, have to say I'm a big fan of them. Every now and then they run some I have never seen before but I enjoy watching then over and over. I'm also a big Laurel and Hardy fan, those two guys are really blast to watch and I have almost all of their films along with some silents they made.

Hollywood Icon Elizabeth Taylor Dies at 79.

ET
ET

"She was surrounded by her children: Michael [Howard] Wilding, Christopher Wilding, Liza Todd, and Maria Burton," Taylor's publicist, Sally Morrison, said in a statement.

In the same statement, Michael Howard Wilding, 58, memorialized his mother:"My Mother was an extraordinary woman who lived life to the fullest, with great passion, humor, and love," he said. "Though her loss is devastating to those of us who held her so close Her legacy will never fade, her spirit will always be with us, and her love will live forever in our heartsand so dear, we will always be inspired by her enduring contribution to our world. Her remarkable body of work in film, her ongoing success as a businesswoman, and her brave and relentless advocacy in the fight against HIV/AIDS, all make us all incredibly proud of what she accomplished. We know, quite simply, that the world is a better place for Mom having lived in it. ."

Just A Few Words.

I'm still pretty upset about what has happened in Japan and there's nothing I can do but donate money and pray for them. Not a lot going on here, we've had some really nice weather here but it's about to change and we are suppose to get rain this coming week.

My son is doing well and has been busy building model planes and ships when he's not on the soccer field. Ciff and I have been trimming a tree in the back yard, the darn thing got out of control and grew wild.

Damn the price of gas is getting to damn high and when you drive a truck like I do you just about have to get a bank loan to fill it up.California seems to charge more then the rest of the states.

We are going to a wedding next Sunday, a lady friend of ours is getting married for the first time to a very nice guy. They are both in their 30's and he also has never been married before. It's going to be a big formal church wedding and should be really nice. We have to take Robert in to get a new suit after school tomorrow he has out grow his old one.Cliff said maybe we could get his old one altered but I think it would be easier to just get him a new on.

Well I just wanted to jump in here and say hi to you all, be sure to stop by and say hi now and then.

Send Your Prayers.

Japan
Japan

As you know Japan has been hit with a major earthquake and as of yet we don't know what all the damage and death amounts to. Please send your prayers to all the people of Japan for their safety. Many of us here on ipernity have friends there and we should all be thinking about them for now.

Out of the closet: Bollywood goes bold and gay.

Bollywood
Bollywood

Imagine two leading Bollywood male stars doing the Tango together. They gaze into each other's eyes. Their bodies rub as one of them stretches backward while the other one leans over.

Steamy though it may sound, it will transpire on the silver screen in Karan Johar's production Dostana, starring Abhishek Bachchan and JohnAbraham in lead roles along with Priyanka Chopra. The movie's promo is being screened in theatres and has already become fodder for many an idle talk.

The most explosive bit of the promo is when John and Abhi stand together and John declares: "We are gay, and he (Abhi) is my boyfriend". What follows are fleeting shots of John and Abhi working out together and walking hand-in-hand on the streets. In one shot Abhi is shown lying on top of John.

However, in the movie John and Abhi are only pretending to be gays. They are shamming because of one little lie they have to live up.

Such a 'queer' promo might have raised hackles a few years back, but today it looks completely acceptable. Back then, a simple ad featuring Shahrukh Khan topless (if I may say so) in a bathtub full of rose petals had stoked the rumors that he was "a gay". While in movies everything with homosexual connotation was shown with derisive humour. Why go far? Remember the scene in Partner when Govinda meets Katrina Kaif's gay friend who croons the memorable Hindi song: "Aadmi hoon aadmi se pyaar karta hoon."

Today, the gay pride is out of the closet, not just in Bollywood, but in Indian society as a whole. Just last month, there was a Gay Parade in New Delhi in which some high-class socialites had taken part. Last weekend there was a similar parade in Mumbai flagged off by none other than the Bollywood bombshell Celina Jaitley, who, though a heterosexual, was taking part on behalf of a gay friend who died recently.

Those who know the film industry inside out vouch for the fact that it is not without people with homosexual tendencies. Only such people don't unfurl the rainbow flag of their sexual orientation. They prefer to keep their private lives private.

However, for starters, a movie on two robust young men pretending to be gays is not bad. By Bollywood standards and its history, that's quite a feat.

Just A Few Words.

We have been getting a lot of cold and rainy weather for a while now and more coming next week. The rain I can deal with but I'm not good in cold weather. We haven't been doing a whole lot for a while, Robert has taken up judo and having a good time with it. Just as I figured would happen, he isn't paying much attention to his dirt bike. However it might be a summer thing for him, we'll see in time.

Cliff and I have become a couple of old men, we ether set around reading, going on line or working out in the yard. One or the other of us are always driving Robert around or going shopping. In truth I guess everything is going as it should for a family, Cliff and I are still enjoying our private together as well as the every day love between us.

I had to have my truck checked out and tuned up as according to the contact, have to say having a mechanic as a lover comes in handy. I only had to pay for the smog test of which it passed. However I did pay him later in my own special way and he was happy about that.

If you haven't seen Black Swan yet please do, it's a wonderful movie and very well done. I can see it receiving Oscars for it.

I haven't been outside much to take photos because of the weather but hope to this week sometime. I've been trying some things in the house for a change. The main one is my Photo Art album which because of the content is for friends to view only. I'm still adding to it, so keep checking it for new photos.

I guess that's it for now, just wanted to stop in and say hi.

Don’t Fool Yourself He’s Real.

Lucifer
Lucifer

I’m talking about Satan also known by other names such as the devil, for the most part seen as a man in red with horns and a tail with a pitch fork in hand. I myself do not believe any of that crap since the Bible tells us he was the most beautiful angel that God created and I’m sure he would not change that. Have I ever seen Satin? No I have not. However I have felt his presence one time in my life and never want to feel it again. Anton Szandor La Vey (April 11, 1930 - October 29, 1997), born Howard Stanton Levey, was the American founder and High Priest of the Church of Satan.

I think I was 22 at the time and in a very low mood in my life, nothing seemed to be working well for me and I was really depressed. My prayers didn't’t seem to be getting any answers and I just didn't’t know what to do.

I remember saying to myself, well if God wont help me maybe Satan will. I got involved with everything Satanism from books to buying emblems, rings and such. So one night I sat on the floor in our family room while everyone was out for the evening, turned out the lights, lit a black candle opened up the satanic bible and started reading the section asking Satan to come into my life and take my sole as his. I read it about 5 times then closed my eyes and gave all my thoughts to him.

Nothing happened for about ten minutes then I had a strange feeling come over me and everything was very still and a strange quiet fell over the room. The candle went out and I knew something was in that room with me and it was evil. It scared me so bad I jumped up and turned on the lights thinking I might see something but nothing or anyone was there.

In my heart I knew Satan was coming for my sole and I fell to my knees and prayed to God for his forgiveness and to never ever let me doubt Him again. Right away my fears went away and everything was normal again. I burned the Satanic bible in the fire place and got rid of everything I had connected to Satan. Things got a whole lot better for me after that.

Everything I have written is the truth and not fiction.

Pay Your Bills & Keep Your Lights On.

Ghost
Ghost

Why that title I have no idea other then I couldn't think of one when I started writing this. Everything is fine at this end and we had a nice weekend, went to the beach and had dinner out. Cliff and Robert are doing well and growing closer each day which I'm happy about.

Back when I was 18 we lived in a big house in Manhattan beach which was built in 1920, it was a two story house that set on red wood tree trunks set in sand. You couldn't see them unless you went under the house and then you could see some of them. It was about a block up from the beach and we really liked the house a lot. However it had one problem with it and that was it had a ghost that lived with us.

We never saw it but we heard it in two ways, it would come along every month or so and let us know it was there. We had a very large gold framed mirror that hung over the fireplace and in the middle of the night when we were in bed we would hear it hit the floor and shatter. The first time we all went downstairs to check it out and found nothing, the mirror was still hanging and not broken. After the second time it happened we knew we had a visitor and stopped going down to check things out.

The second event may have been another ghost, we're not sure. On nights that the mirror didn't fall we would hear someone coming up the stairs, they were made of wood and would creak when you went up them. Every now and then we would hear that sound late at night, we only heard the steps coming up and never going back down. As long as we lived there it went on and we never saw anything or hurt in anyway.

After we moved out the house was torn down and a new house was build in it's place. About a year later I went by and talked to the people living there, I told them about the old house and asked if anything thing happened in the new house. They said no that they hadn't had any problems like that. I'm not sure but they may have figured I was a nut job but they were very nice about it all.

That was the only time I had any contact with a ghost, however I had a near run in with the Devil which I'll write about another time. let us know if you have any back ground with ghost or spirits.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

MLK
MLK

King was the chief spokesman for nonviolent activism in the civil rights movement, which successfully protested racial discrimination in federal and state law. The campaign for a federal holiday in King's honor began soon after his assassination in 1968. Ronald Reagan signed the holiday into law in 1983, and it was first observed on January 20, 1986. At first, some states resisted observing the holiday as such, giving it alternative names or combining it with other holidays. It was officially observed in all 50 states for the first time in 2000.

Queen's Offical Birthday.

Queens Birthday
Queens Birthday

The Queen's Official Birthday, also known as "the Queen's Birthday" is the day on which the birthday of the monarch of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth Realms is officially celebrated rather than the actual day of the current monarch's birthday. The exact date of the celebration varies from country to country, and only marks the real birthday of the sovereign by coincidence (the current monarch, Elizabeth II, was born on 21 April 1926). Most Commonwealth Realms release a Birthday Honours List at this time.

It has been celebrated in the United Kingdom with the Queen's Birthday Parade (which includes Trooping the colour ceremonies) since 1748. In the UK there is no public holiday for it and King Edward VII (1901–10)[verification needed] moved it to the 1st, 2nd, or (rarely) 3rd Saturday in June in the hope of better weather. It might be said that the Monarch's official birthday is only this date as the Monarch declared it, and others have kept it, whereas the celebration of the Queen's birthday elsewhere is the name of a public holiday, sometimes renamed.[clarification needed]

It has been celebrated as an official public holiday, sharing sometimes with the celebration of other things, in several Commonwealoth countries, usually Commonwealth realms, although it is also celebrated in Fiji, now a republic.

Stalin hated nude male art.

Stalin
Stalin

A new exhibition at the Marat Guelman gallery in Moscow features a series of drawings of male nude models that the Soviet leader defaced with rude comments.

The comments include such philosophical gems as "Don't sit with a bare ass on stones." and "One thinking fool is worse than 10 enemies."

Other images bear chatty, mocking comments to ex-comrades of the Communist Party. One drawing of a slim, older man says, "Why are you so thin, Mikhail Ivanovich? Do some work. Masturbation is not work. Try Marxisim!"

This may have been a reference to Mikhail Ivanovich Kalinin, a member of Stalin's inner circle who had died in 1946 and who actually looks a bit like the guy in the drawing.

The prints come from a series issued in the late 1940s, when Stalin was aged about 70. They were preserved by members of the KGB who worked with Stalin and the handwriting has been authenticated by the Russian Interior Ministry. Many of the images bear Stalin's signature.

Just why Stalin felt compelled to write these sayings and chat with his dead comrades on pictures of nude men is a bit of a mystery. Perhaps it was his way of relieving the strain after helping to defeat Hitler and killing millions of his own people.

I'm Off The Market.

News.
News.

Yesterday was a big day here for Cliff and myself. We had a few close friends over and held a small partners ceremony to commit ourselves for a permanent life together as partners. My son Robert was our ring barer and stood with us. Nothing religious other then a prayer by our guest. All in all everything was really nice. There was lots of food, dancing and drinks. Even Robert had a glass of champagne which he didn't really care for.

Robert was saying to have two dad's is great because if one of us say's no about something the other one will say yes. He might be right about that, Cliff has a big heart when comes to Robert and do just about anything he wants or needs.

We were lucky that it was one day of no rain here but it came back today, however we got lucky and it moved in and out fast. I'm not sure if we're getting anymore or not, I sure hope not as the ground can't take to much more. It's still cold as hell during the day and even colder at night and we have the heat on almost twenty four seven.

We're going up to the mountains this coming weekend and play in the snow, we'll stay over night at a hotel and enjoy ourselves. It's only about a hours drive up unless the roads there a mess and we'll take chains just incase you still have to use them.

I guess this is all for now, but I'll write some more soon, maybe fill you in on more of my adventures as a kid. I wasn't always a good kid and got into my share of trouble I can assure you.

Life Goe's On.

Rings
Rings

All that looking forward to Christmas, shopping, planning and build up to the big day and it's over in a blink. And now the new year will hit us before you know it. Oh well there's nothing we can do about it but enjoy it while we can.

Christmas was really nice here at home without any problems, Robert got everything he wanted and Cliff and I enjoyed watching Robert enjoy himself.

New Years Eve is a big night for us, Cliff and I will make our relationship a permanent one for life. Robert says having two dads is great and approves of it.

We will have a few close friends over and held a small commitment ceremony between us. We'll say a few words to each other and Robert will hand us the rings to place on each others fingers and that will do it. Yes there will be a cake, music and dancing.

All in all everything is going well here at home and I'm sure the coming year will be out standing, I hope it will be the same for you. As for the coming year I have no plans and will just let life come it's way and with what ever it has to offer.

?
?

Dark cloudy days with rain on it's way for a few days, yep that's what is going on here at the moment. Lot's of traffic on all the streets now and Christmas trees on top of the cars and in trunks or the back of a truck. Some wrapped in plastic and some uncovered, big, medium and small they are all out there.

The yard and house is all decorated inside and out and we will buy the tree this Friday and set it up. We are having a tree trimming party with family and a few friends over, nothing major but a little fun for everyone.

Write us and let us know what you and your family will be doing for Christmas.

My little friend Max the homeless cat is doing fine, he spends a great deal with me when I'm on the porch and sets on my lap to be petted, I like hearing him purr. Other wise he lays on the porch and sleeps. he also isn't as nervous and jumpy as he was before. However he still wont come in the house which in the long run I guess is good.

The way our weather men are telling it you would think the great floods of the Bible were coming back this weekend. They love to use all those big words and moving cloud maps and dance all around as they tell you about the weather changes. We are going to get some heavy rains this weekend and next week but we always do at this time of the year. So just relax weather people all will be fine.

From This End.

Male Prostate.
Male Prostate.

Well we’re all starting to go crazy getting ready for the holidays ahead of us trying to please as many people that we can. I see that a lot of houses are being decorated for Christmas already, I know it takes some time to do, but can’t they wait a little longer and at least have Thanksgiving dinner?

I haven’t been taking to many pictures lately because I’ve had a lot of other things to take care and just haven’t had that much extra time on my hands. I’ve added some that I’ve taken over time and have held back on, hopping you’ll find them interesting.

Cliff will be going back east to have Thanksgiving with his grandmother but will spend Christmas here with Robert and myself. She’s all the family he has left and he hasn’t seen her in a few years. I’m having a few friends in for a buffet dinner, there will be tons of food and drinks and yes a very large turkey for sure. There will be a ham for those that aren’t into turkey, a couple of Roberts friends will also be here.

We’ve been getting a lot of cold nights here and having to use the heater system a lot, the days are nice but changes around five in the evening. They keep saying we’re getting some pretty good rain this weekend which will be nice, we need it for sure as we haven’t really had all that much so far.

I’m creating a Christmas website over on Angelfire but wont be online until the first of December. I had to start it now as it takes time when you’re doing it all with html coding. I’ll let you know when it’s online and I hope you’ll visit it and enjoy yourself.

Well you all take care now and I’ll be around soon to visit you and say hi.

Oh Crap, You're Kidding.

Marilyn Monroe & Jane Russell.
Marilyn Monroe & Jane Russell.

It's turkey time already? Where did the year go? The store ads for turkey's and cranberry sauce came out over a week ago and the ads are pushing Christmas decorations and gift suggestions. I don't know why it bothers me so much but it does. I guess in part because it's now so commercial, when I was a kid and we knew Thanksgiving was coming we knew that meant that Christmas and Santa Clause would soon be coming along.

I really feel that a lot of the fun and joy of these holidays have lost a lot of their fun and interest to many. I do everything I can to make sure Robert enjoys them and has good memories of them. As a child his parents never made his holidays fun and Christmas was all most never celebrated and even his birthdays were ignored. So ever since I've had him I'm making sure he enjoys life as it should be for a young boy. And will continue to do so no matter how old he gets.

As for Robert he twisted his ankle yesterday during a soccer game but it'll be good again in a few days. I kept him home from school today may keep him out till Monday to give it plenty of time heal. He's not to happy about that as he hates missing school. But I think it's the best thing to do and Cliff agrees with me.

Well it's about time I went to bed so I'll close for now and say Good Night.

Ipernity Hits Again.

New Entry.
New Entry.

Well ipernity removed two of our friends for what they call infractions of their rules, this is a bunch of BS! I find it interesting that when I check sites in other countries they are allowed to post the same kind of photos that we’re not. Something isn’t right here.

Tomorrow night is all hollows eve and the little ones will be banging on our doors for candy and goodies. I remember as a kid trick or treating and it was a lot of fun, I always ended up with a good load of goodies that lasted me a long time. It’s sad that now a days you have to be so careful about what your children receive, but they still have a lot of fun and that’s what counts.

I’ll be changing the name of my site since I’m running out of interesting things to photograph from the front porch, also since I’ve been posting photos not taken from the porch the title doesn’t fit. As to the new name I’m still thinking about a couple that I’ll choose from. We all need to make changes now and then or life just gets boring and dull and we sure don’t need that.

Cliff and Robert are in the den watching a replay of a football game and yelling for me to come and watch with them, I’m not big on TV sports but they are my family and I like being with them so I’ll say good night for now and write some more later. Thank you for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon.
