Cleaning up

This is a very good idea indeed... I have to clean up, both in my groups and my contacts... time for autumn cleaning! :o)

I recognized I have to do this at home. Before I cannot start with the next exam-learning.
It's easier to concentrate without chaos, hehe...
And here at Ipernity it's also important for me. Too much chaos less fun or inspiration.

That's what I thought too before my last exam. But then I gave up on the chaos and just went to the library to learn :-)

Anyway, too many groups are just like no groups at all, you cannot concentrate on any of them. Most groups are like tags, you just post there, but besides that there's nothing.

Das Problem ist, ich kann in der Uni nicht so gut lernen/arbeiten. Nicht zuletzt, weil ich dort mein Zeug nicht mal eben stehen lassen kann, wenn man mal auf Toilette muss oder doch schnell noch ein Buch braucht. (Ok, es gibt viele die haben damit keine Probleme, hehe)

Andererseits, würde ich in der Uni lernen/arbeiten und zu Hause bleibt das Chaos, dann komme ich nicht mehr gern nach Hause und mein Freund steigt mir dann aufs Dach! *lach*

Und ja, Du hast Recht. In meinen Gruppen wird ja auch nur noch gepostet, weil sich keiner die Mühe macht, etwas zu schreiben. Und wenn man damit nicht von Anfang an dabei ist als Admin, denkt sich jeder sowieso: Wenn sie nicht, warum ich dann?
Aber schließen möchte ich sie deswegen nicht!

Ich finde, das ist ok, mache ich so! Wenn Bilder von mir in Gruppen eingeladen werden an denen ich wenig Interesse hab, dann stelle ich das Bild ein und verlasse die Gruppe sofort wieder!

Hehe, die Methode ist gut, aber ich bin manchmal zu unmotiviert, mich erst anzumelden und dann wieder zu verschwinden!

i have the same "problem". i think i will leave some groups soon.
i still wonder why it doesn't really work here. it DID work with a lot of groups at flickr.

I think this is related to the "critical mass" needed to self-fuel the activity of groups: the total number of Ipernity members is roughly comparable with the new daily members of Flickr or PhotoBucket
