I must be stupid but I did it!

Sunday January 11, 2009 at 01:52PM

LOL... Nothing is wrong... hehe...

But I stood up early (7.30 am) although it's weekend and I don't have to work or something else.

I wanted to use the morning for taking pictures in the Winter Wonderland early in the morning cause the light is very awesome at this time and not many people are on the streets. Now I have to check the results. Maybe some photos are worth to show it here.

The first pix you can find in the album Winter Wonderland

This is not stupid, but clever! I was very stupid today. Woke up at 16:00. Puh! No time for pictures today...

Mächtig spät! Da wars das ja auch mit dem Licht. Habe am Freitag kurz nach 16 Uhr die Sonne untergehen sehen...
Aber solange der Vorabend gut war, ist so eine Zeit auch genehmigt. ;o)

Just had a quick look at the photos and they were worth getting up early for.
We've had no snow, or even good frosts. Most of Britain has, but even though it's been below freezing a lot, there's been nothing near me. If we had then i may have got up early too!

No snow? That isn't so nice. I am really happy that here in the Ruhrarea is a bit more snow this year. Normally not. But I lived in Munich and Dresden before and there was most of all the years enough snow for enjoying it. I missed it here till this year! ;o)

That's right, no snow!!
We used to have really great snow when i was a kid, but hardly ever have any now. When we do have some it goes within a day or so. No more sledging like we used to do. And i love the snow so much!!
