Ich bin immer wieder erstaunt darüber, wie viele Menschen auch heute noch die Fotografie als dokumentarisches Medium mit Wahrheitsanspruch verstehen.
Es würde mich nicht wundern, wenn dieser Artikel in zehn Jahren von Kulturwissenschaftlern als Anstoß für eine neue Skepsis in Bezug auf Wahrhaftigkeit in der Fotografie zitiert würde. Die Auseinandersetzung mit der Glaubwürdigkeit von Bildern in Film, Fernsehen und Fotografie ist mehr als überfällig.
Wer dieses Thema heute schon verstanden hat, reagiert meist zynisch - dabei sollten wir noch einen Schritt weiter gehen und das Thema mit einem amüsierten Augenzwinkern hinterfragen.
