Tallinn on the most Eastern side of the Baltic Sea, the Gulf of Finland. It was on the UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE list since 1997. It was a prosperous town of the Hanseatic League and it is surrounded by high defence walls and towers that watched the arrival of the ennemies by land or by sea. Now the cobbled streets see only friendly tourists enjoying themselves everywhere, ready to drink and dine at all the pubs, restaurants, to buy souvenirs, jewels made of famous Baltic Amber and taking pictures of all the Medieval buildings.
You can only walk within the walled medieval city, but you can take the City Tour Bus that brings you every 2 hours around the new modern city and the industrialised part along the Bay with scenery of the fields and where most people live.

TALLINN, UN BIJOU DE LA MER BALTIQUE se trouve dans le Golfe de Finlande, tout à fait à l'Est. Elle appartient à la liste de UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE depuis 1997. C'était une ville prospère de la Ligue Hanséatique et se défendait en s'entourant de murailles épaisses surmontées de tours de guet. Maintenant les rues pavées de la vieille ville ne voient que des touristes qui ne veulent que voir les vieux monuments, festoyer dans les nombreux pubs et restaurants, prendre des photos et acheter des bijoux faits avec le fameux ambre de la Baltique.
Vous pouvez seulement marcher à pied dans la vieille ville, mais vous pouvez prendre le City Tour Bus toutes les 2 heures (autant de fois que vous voulez) qui vous amène voir la Nouvelle ville et ses aires de développement hors de la ville avec vue sur les parcs et les champs.
