Now moved, and more or less set up. Apologies to everyone who has been waiting for stuff. Starting to update photos, and a LOT more to follow.

August 4, 2009
I have been VERY slack in updating my photos and such here. I am in the process of moving from the West Country to the North of Scotland. Once I've moved, I'll try to get some decent photos up again. Check back around October (hopefully).

Will be away in France until the 22nd April - will catch up when I return. Apologies for my lack of participation recently.

I will be away now from today, 14th April, until 5th May. I will be in Paris, Madrid, and Asturias (in Spain/Espana). Hopefully, I will have some decent photos to bring back.

March 22, 2008
Finally clearing 4 months of photo backlog; there should be a shedload of updates over the next week or so. Sorry for being away for so long.

February 10, 2008
Been spending a lot of time keep The Man off my back, but I should have some new photos up here (at last) by the middle of February. Sorry to the handful of people that are waiting for some activity from me - should be back to normal soon.

October 24, 2007
Some gormless twat killed my internet connection (I'm writing this on my Mum's computer!), so my photos might be a bit of a mess. I'm away until the 6th November, so won't be able to respond or do anything useful until then, assuming someone has sorted my phone line out by then as well. I'm pretty sure it was BT that messed it up; I saw an engineer pulling wires out of the ground right around the corner from my house, and that night, my broadband died. But there's no easy way to get it sorted…

October 7, 2007
Entirely by accident, I came across this little gem. I couldn't think of anywhere else to share it: Civilization (Bongo, Bongo, Bongo) The Andrews Sisters with Danny Kaye - written by Bob Hilliard and Carl Sigman - as recorded September 27, 1947 in Los Angeles by The Andrews Sisters with Danny Kaye and Vic Schoen & His Orchestra. Each morning, a missionary advertises neon sign He tells the native population that civilization is fine And three educated savages holler from a bamboo tree Tha…

Thanks for all the invitations to join groups. However, I don't join groups . Although I have a semi-humourous explanation on the description for the group, I thought I would explain my reasons a little further here. (I would like to point out that I don't think that anyone that's sent me an invitation to join a group is an idiot - except those that I don't have as contacts). First problem with groups: I saw this on Flickr, and I see it growing here - groups quickly get swamped. You end…

July 16, 2007
Not that anyone's holding their breath or anything, but I should be getting some more photos up in the next few days. I have now tested out my new camera, a Pentax K100D, which was the cheapest I could get that would do a decent job. I am very happy with it, and am already starting to feel like a professional. With a few lenses already purchased or on their way (including a fisheye, a telephoto, a macro and a wide angle), my photography looks like it will soon improve - at least to my own sat…
[delay]

July 10, 2007
Looks like there will be a minor delay in adding new photos; my camera died, and the new one I purchased is awaiting a lens (which should have been shipped with the camera, but never mind). Hopefully, I'll get some more (new) photos up here by the 15th July, taken with my new super cool camera.

I have now moved all my old photos from F***kr. Everything uploaded after today will be fresh and exciting. Or at least new. I will not mention the 'f' word again, unless absolutely necessary.

June 23, 2007
I am currently in the process of moving 2000 photos over from Flickr. Once I get settled in here, I'll start adding some more! This is a great and friendly service, and one of the few sites I've felt enthusiastic about for a long time. Can't believe how nice everyone seems. Great stuff.
