THIS BLOG IS FAAAAAAR FROM COMPLETE. I already published part of it and keep working till it´s done.
Just got back from my 6 day trip to Prague. It's in my eyes the nicest city i have been to so far.
More text en pictures are comming soon.
Saturday 26.04:
- left Landgraaf around 10 am
- arrived at Brussel airport at 11.30 am
- waited untill plane left at 5 pm
- arrived at about 7.30 pm at Prague Bed & Breakfast Association
- walked to the old town center and walked around till 11.30 pm
Sunday 27.04:
- Left B&B at 9.30 am
- walked through old town
- walked through new town
- walked to Prague Castle
- walked around till 8, then I returned to the B&B to get my tripod for some night pictures
- finaly went to bed at 12 pm
Monday 28.04:
- Followed a tour at 10.30 from the lovey people of Free Prague Tours that lasted 3 houres. All 3 houres where great. we saw everything to the right of the Vltava includes Old Town, New Town and Jewish ghetto.
- Legs decided they didn´t like walking becose of the I walked a lot the day before
- returned to the B&B to ly down to let my legs rest so I could run about again the day after.
- Read Terry Pratchett's "Mort" And "Reaper Man" so no time was wasted
Tuesday 29.04:
- Went to see the Ossuary in Sedlec. If there is one thing that impressive then it's definitly this. The bones of 40.000 people are used in the decoration. Truly a beautyfull sight to see, and a macabre one.
- More walking in Prague
Wednesday 30.04:
- Tryed visiting the old jewisch cemetery, but could only get a ticket in combination with other sites to see, and had to pay extra so I could take pictures. And I thought it was to expensive since I just wanted to see the cemetary since the Museum was just so busy you couldn't see anything. So I left that out. Saving that for next time
Thursday 01.05:
- Had to leave the B&B at 10 am, and a plane that left at 3 pm. To much time in between, and becose my parent didn´t wanted to cary the luggage to the centre and get something o drink there, we sat in one of the many park that Prague has. So while they sat there I went looking for a post office to post some card for friends. First one was easy to find, near the railway station, and it was closed... eventhough it should be open, on to the next one, 15 min walking further, thank god it was open, but what do you expect of the main post office. After finding out how things work, gave the letters and payed, and off I was, back to the park.
- At 12 pm cab picked us up and brought us to the airport
- Plan left at 3 pm and landed in Brussel at 4.30 pm
And that was the end of 6 great days in a bieutifull city, that I shall deffinitly visit again as soon as i can.
