I have NOT included POW photos- I have seen enough of those lately as I expect the rest of you have too!

While the past is now a lovely park, and grasses & trees now hide, what once was a horror, still a steady stream of water rises up from the ground that once was a saving grace to those still alive in a hell not of their making.

This was the tree,as struck by lighting and water spilled out from its base. Still does to this day in wetter months.

A concrete basin was made for the water to flow into (after camp was closed).

The overflow from the basin flows out of this marble statue into a large marble bowl- and yes it is save to drink!

This is only one of many statues, from many states that soilders were from.

This statue was made by an artist who no money for his work and it says it all!!!
