After many weeks and months collecting my photos here on ipernity I decided to create my own personal web appearance with a collection of my (or your?) favorite photos.
I found a nice little webhosting provider in Germany called Prixa who have a special offer for image collections.
I would be happy if you visit me at www.corcordis.de and let me know what you like or not.
I am still working on the page, categories and collection of photos there ;-)
But anyway for sure I will stay here in this nice community! Thanks for everything!

Ich fand es schwierig, ein solches Thema (Fotos) in guter Darstellungsqualität "schnell" zu verpacken, sodass man nicht unbedingt DSL6000 haben muss.
Aber bei einer Auflösung von max. 600 Pixel Seitenlänge sollte das hinkommen.
Auf jeden Fall bin ich von 4images und den frei verfügbaren Templates begeistert.
Man muss halt hinterher noch ein wenig basteln :-)

Ich habe (bzw. teilweise hatte) von HTML, CSS, PHP und allem drumherum gar keine Ahnung ;-)
PHP musste ich überhaupt nicht anfassen.
Die HTML-Seiten und das CSS-Stylesheet sind recht übersichtlich aufgebaut und mit etwas Einlese-Arbeit (selfhtml.org) auch gut zu bearbeiten.
Du brauchst einen Hoster, der eine MySQL-Datenbank zur Verfügung stellt, um 4images zu betreiben. Ich habe über Prixa.de direkt ein vorinstalliertes Paket bekommen.
