SPAM

Sunday December 9, 2007 at 04:48PM

We are all talking about SPAM but what or from where is that word for ?

Le mot SPAM nous est bien connu, son origine moins....

The original name cames from a cheap meat ,canned product :

Son origine se retrouve sur de la viande en conserve, bon marché :

golden honey spam
golden honey spam

Avec le sketch dans le Monty Pithon's Flying circus, le 'nom de marque' devient useul, comme une chose dont on ne veut pas mais qui est mis à tous les plats :

With the famous sketch in the Monty Phiton's Flying circus this 'brand-name' became usual, as something you don't want but served with every meal :

Monty Python- Spam

When I was a kid, there was this hermits house in the woods. Behind the house were mountains of spam cans. There must of been tens of thousands of them.

Hey I grew up with spam. I am originally a cockney, from the East End of London. Spam was often on the menu, something for the evening meal to have in a sandwich, or if you ran out of ideas at lunchtime, just fry it. I think that was why the sketch was so popular with the English. I havn't had it for years - it's just something ok to eat. Just imagine a plate of spam with chips -wondeful.
