I think it's a bad habit to pass by the pics without clicking on them.
sometimes original size it's just too big to appreciate, and the medium size
it's enough, and fully provided in exhibitions, therefore we watch and we pass to another in medium size...

I love medium size, really is a nice format, but makes people pass by, and no visit is counted, no page is opened, no comment.
Now I'm trying to upload lots as this place is really quick, many of my uploads
are not seen at all... It's a pity.

thanks to this idea, i have discovered this pic .... before time! the slideshow is a good idea to see the whole work posted, although you cannot stop on a picture and comment for instance ... what we are now? ... ipernitiers maybe?

It's very hard to comment on lots and lots of photographs. I love a lot of what you are posting, but there are too many and I just don't have time...I like to post only one, two or three a day, then if people are interested it's easier for them to comment. I guess you are uploading from Flickr ? Or do you always post this many ?

Obviously this thread does not referres you, Michèle, as you are so kind to precisely comment the "hidden ones". I have a poster of you in my room, and I thank and bless you every time I pass by. (:D)

I had my periods in flickr uploading a lot, depends on my mood.

I used to post only a few and will do so again when I'm finished with my flickr cleanup to save at least a bit of my two years of work.

I'm glad for anyone who comes to enjoy my stream, comment or no comment.
I get the idea though, that many people here will use the function that others can see that you visited them to "lure" them to their stream.....oh well....time will tell.

medium size is big enough. people watch. thumbnail size or icon buddy is small, people click to see all details. When they're there, they can say good, ugly, crop suggested, wow, great, etcetera... It's reaaly nice to have this feedback. At least, I confess, I love it!

I think this idea is fantastic!

I was beginning to wonder about being here...as I am not a 'pro" yet I can only upload a few, so I try and select some of my best, which usually is from the "OPTIME GALLERY" from the other place.

Hardly a peep from other "ipernauts" (my vote)...so I visit the my other home, not for the bells and whistles, but to get some feedback, good or bad.

This is a very lonely place as is ; )

P.S. I didn't mean to sound so pitiful...I had no contacts/friends when I joined Flickr and now have many. In time, the same will occur here. Everything in its own time. ; )

I agree - more clicking. I have taken the time to view whole slideshows here from Ojisanjake and Peter Pick but I am guilty of not clicking through some photos. I'm only part time here for now so am not quite so active as I am at the other place.
