 I don't know about you, but I sure like to go out a take them. Then I like to come home, put them on my computer and share them with others. I really like getting feedback from real photographers.

 Taking their cue from Ipernity, Flickr has just enabled video uploads to their site. There are many people whom oppose this new addition and have started groups to fight it. It seems to be the way of Flickr to do things and then it's people argue its choices. I still enjoy both sites, even though I don't see myself uploading any videos of my kid and his dog anytime soon.

 

 They get peoples attention.

I was thinking ........ Over here at IPERNITY we all seem to avoid typing the name "FLICKR". I think we should always refer to it and type the name fully. This would be tracked on a Google or any media search and lead new people here that may have otherwise ended up buying an account "over there" instead of here. Hmmmmmmmmmm? Just a thought..... *Because WE all know that IPERNITY.COM gives you 200mb free a month uploads, and DOES NOT censor your photo art! ....and now they have GROUPS! - IPERNITY is GOOD!

Post a photo that in some way RELATES to the previous one. The next person sees something within the previous photo, then posts their photo (MEDIUM SIZE). They have to tell us what RELATES (ie: __________ Relates to __________). It can be anything like eyes, ships, skyline, buildings, flowers, etc., but their photo has to have whatever it is that RELATEs it to the last. So... Let me find one......

I know that there is alot of talk about the upcoming group feature. I am just curious as to what groups you folks are interested in creating. In your opinion, what was your favorite group from "over there" and what group would you like to create or see created here at IPERNITY?

The last one I found was a "pro" account , so she paid for it then left. Even a few German names have left us. I hope this isn't a sign of more to come, because I like it here.

Do YOU add tags to your photos?..I mean every one? I don't understand why they are important. Do tags increase traffic on your photos? Do they make you pictures look nicer? Improve the composition? Hmmmmmmm....

Without all those "loud" group icons, that the other place has, Ipernity seems like a quieter crowd. Or is it just me? Do less comments get made here?....than that other place. Is it just the "If you post you must make 5 comments" rules? I vow to add comments to as many cool shots as I can. If you feel like my comments are too liberal please, just enjoy the personal spotlight. I am glad to be a part of both communities, with or without the flashy annoying group icons. I personally like the idea that someone would comment on a picture just because they felt like it, instead of being forced to.
