The day started off with a bike ride which I found quite usual since I bike around 30 miles everyday I get out on my bike. (getting a new one friday) Well I ended up outside City Hall and the Statler Towers. Now I am with my friend a non photographer. Infiltration is kind of a new thing to him. Opposed to walking to the main elevators we cut into a ballroom. Then through a door marked bathroom??? It was a hallway. I feel like he mapped this out as a joke. Then to a hidden starwell. Up the stairs to another stairway. Then cut over to the elevators. This was to avoid the gaurds/ cameras. Then I think alright lets go up to the 15th floor. Nope he presses 16. We go up and cut around a few corners to another stairwell. Walk down and he looks out the door to our destination. Once deciding there was no one there doing work we entered. The first room we entered had um. Just the toilets left ha. Oh and a tub, but let me tell you I got one of the best views of the city I have ever had. Also they were doing the demolition on the building next door so I got a cool shot of that. I was running on only half battery because this was unexpected. I didn't get half the shots I wanted to. Especially seeing there were firms still intact but with nothing inside. The place is awesome. One of my favorite infiltrations I have been a part of. I think Im going to take a long pro infiltration man Steve from now on during my excursions. The rest of my day was alright. Found a grain elevator with its stairs still intact! I am eager to go back. Also found a nature perserve which I had no idea existed. 230 different types of birds have been spotted at a place where I think only the founders have visited.
