Finally able to enter the EXIF data in my RAW images thanks to the guys on www.mycanong7.com If you are interested read the topic on the forum an look for:

Thanks to Simon I use the application DNG4PS-2 @ http://dng4ps2.chat.ru/index_en.html to convert my EXIF data from the origional Canon RAW to DNG. BEWARE: this tool only works for Canon Powershot models (as far as I understand).
Previous RAW files still mention A640 as camera model (instead of G7) witch is a result of the UFRaw editing I guess, but newer conversions work well!
