Well I am almost ready for my holiday. Not going to the place I previous had in mind, but I still will be traveling far east in a very different timezone. I hope to be able to shoot some nice pictures and show a few of them here afterwards. See you all later!

Friday night March 6, after a nice home made Italian Diner at my eldest son's place, my youngest son and a friend of him went to the busstation to get back home again.
Because they needed to wait, for about one hour before the next bus to arrive, they went for a drink in a pub next to the busstation. For no reason they got caught into a fight there and my youngest went down after receiving more than a few hits.
At this moment he is laying in the hospital where he is being treated having at least a concussion (head injury).
I consider this as one of the lightest forms of violence. Just as useless as all other types of violence.
Violence is useless.

Hi everyone
I am very busy these days preparing my eldest son's appartment. He is going to move out, which brings a lot of work to me aswell, helping him with painting and stuff.
Does anybody has a little extra time for me? lol
I will be able to post pictures again after this job is finished....

Finally able to enter the EXIF data in my RAW images thanks to the guys on www.mycanong7.com If you are interested read the topic on the forum an look for:
forum/camera related/ general discussion/ canon G7 +EXIF data
(a special thanks to Simon.fairclough Vic and Siegfried!) and also thanks to the UFRaw forum!!
Thanks to Simon I use the application DNG4PS-2 @ http://dng4ps2.chat.ru/index_en.html to convert my EXIF data from the origional Canon RAW to DNG. BEWARE: this tool only works for Canon Powershot models (as far as I understand).
Previous RAW files still mention A640 as camera model (instead of G7) witch is a result of the UFRaw editing I guess, but newer conversions work well!
