Life is a bitch - Part IV

I hope that my ever returning bad news don't bother or bore you

but fate keeps on hitting my face...

One of my closest friends over more than 20 years suddenly passed away last week.
I'm crying my heart out and I fear the funeral next saturday 10:00 in Kalkar

gone forever
gone forever

excuse my absence

Life is a bitch - Part V

In a constantly repeating manner I have been annoying you with bad news and
I think it's time for a little obituary in order to give some background information
regarding the photos I have worked on to digest and understand what was going on...

Christoph was a very close friend I got to know 25 years ago.
He suffered from hemophilia and the corresponding symptoms.
We were young and wild and there were a few tricky situations that drove me mad.
Though he was absolutely clear about how fucking dangerous it is to climb rocks,
to perform in martial arts (he always wanted me to teach him how to fight) or to build
glass boxes for poisonous animals he was never afraid to risk his life.

Of course I protested.
So he said "okay - now you learn how to prepare an injection with a lifesaving factor-8-drug!"

In fact it's not just useful to give medical injections to your friend but also to animals or
as in the case of the photo you see here - to prepare injections for myself.

Can you show me where it hurts?
Can you show me where it hurts…

The injection stuff in this photo is not the medicine for hemophiliacs...
I used this for my preparations for a bone marow stem cell donation I did last year for a leukemia patient..

Thanks to Christoph who told me how to handle a syringe and helped me a lot in the process of the bone marrow donation and the desperate effort to help someone who's facing death.

The stuff I injected into my fat belly is called 'Granocyte' and is made from -yeah, don't laugh!-
so called CHO-cells of the chinese hamster...

Did I mention that Christoph used rats and hamsters to feed the snakes he was breeding in his self-made glass boxes?

While I am doing my best to understand what happend I will post photos.
These photos may reflect my grief and my mourning and the process of deflection.

My depressions are not gone but I am feeling a bit better after all what happened
(did I mention that another friend died from cancer in the same week as Christoph died?)...

I will return to post more colorful and funny photos as soon as possible,
thank you for your understanding!
