Jajajajaaaaa, ich habe es endlich hinbekommen
vor Ewigkeiten habe ich mal einen Dia-Scanner als Naturalien-Dreingabe für 'nen PC-homejob bekommen. In Betrieb genommen, a bisserl rumgspielt, PC kaputt, Scanner vergessen...

Da stand das Teil nun und wollte mit seinem SCSI-Anschluss partout nicht unter Vista laufen

Weil PC ja regelmäßig abrauchen und ich mir die Investition in ein neues 420W-Netzteil für meinen Zweit-Rechner für nach'm'Urlaub aufschiebe habe ich mal nen ganz ollen Schrott-PC wiederbeatmet (Wahnsinn, was sich so alles im Keller findet)...

Treiber-Chaos, support-from-hell, das Teil tat's nich...
...egal, so eine Herausforderung nehm ich gerne an (gut, dass ich dieses WE nichts vorhatte...)

Was soll ich sagen, das Teil geht jetzt wieder und ich habe gleich mal angefangen, ein paar olle Kamellen und auch was frisches von den letzten Analog-Ausritten einzuscannen:

Yeah, finally I got it made
once upon a long ago I received a scanner for slides as an additional income for a private PC-cleanup-job. After setting it up I played a bit, the PC broke and I somehow forgot the scanner...

So this thing was standing around and the SCSI interface just did not want to work with Windows Vista

As PC tend to break on a regular basis and I postpone the investment in to a new power supply (for the time after the holidays) I started to fiddle around with an old and scrappy PC (hell, incredible what sort of things one finds in the cellar) ...

Well... driver hell, suckin' support, the scanner did not want to run...
...but hey, THAT is a challenge I love to take (good if you have spare time on a weekend)

Sp what shall I say: the scanner is working and I just started to scan a few of the old slides and also some fresh negatives from the last ride with a vintage analogue camera...
