monitor | calibration

Do you use a tool for monitor calibration?
I need one and I'm interested in your opinion/experience!

Benutzt du ein ein Werkzeug für die Kalibrierung deines Monitors?
Ich brauch das auch und bin an deiner Meinung und Erfahrung interessiert!

PC, Core2duo, Win Vista, nvidia 8400GS + Samsung Syncmaster 203B

Ich habe manchmal Bilder die bei mir gut bis sehr gut aussehen, aber an einem (meist Windows) Rechner ohne kalibriertem Monitor sind die zu dunkel. Ist mir schon ab und zu passiert. Da aber meine Bilder, die ich manchmal bei CeWe belichten und ausdrucken lasse, mit dem Bild auf dem Monitor identisch sind, denke ich mal es lohnt sich.

Ja, das Spyder3Pro reizt mich preislich wie qualitativ, ist so um 130€ zu haben und scheint genau das zu können, was ich mir verspreche, dx-rite-Produkte sind wohl auch nicht schlecht, aber deutlich teurer.

stimmt. Es gibt noch den Color Munki. Das Teil reizt mich ja, aber gut 400,- € ist einfach zu teuer. Damit kann man dann Monitor und Drucker kalibrieren. Naja, aber der Preis geht gar nicht. Nicht wenn man es nicht kommerziell macht.

I also use Spyder3 pro, I had some other ones in test on Mac and PC, none was so reliable and easy to use. It is a pro-tool on a cheap price if you consider the the high quality results.
I have no doubt if you can spend it, go for it..you won't regret (as usual, quality got his price)
