What I really and most wish for Ipernity...

Saturday June 23, 2007 at 09:21AM

...is better communication as it seems to take place currently.

So how about a roadmap entry in the team blog? I'm not really thinking about a fixed time scale, but more some idea what you're currently working on. We know already that you're working on groups and we've seen some great new and wanted features implemented very quickly. And there are many posts floating aaround where people did ask you directly. I think it would be great if you posts at least some of your plans openly. If you can publish a time when you expect a feature to be available, fine, is not just post how important it is on your roadmap.

I think this would be a great feedback for the community. And this way it could easier to get feedback about wanted features as well.

Thanks for the great work!

I agree. I'm finding it hard to find out what's going on here, what the bugs are and what's planned.

Team blog would be nice!

And maybe some place people could ask questions... It seems now that all our blogs are kept eye on, but maybe if the community grows it would be easier if there were one certain place for that.

Indeed we have to communicate and to share ideas. I'll start a first discussion about Groups in a couple of days in the ipernity's blog . Groups appear to be a key-function requested by most of our advanced members, it's OUR priority. When groups are released, we'll open several other threads about improvements and new features.

We'll build ipernity together now.

Thanks Chris! That's good to hear. I assume the new members here give you quite a bit of pressure currently. ;-)

Well we come from a site with quite a few function we grew accustomed to. So there're many wishes and ideas floating around. I have to agree, that groups are an important feature for "us". Another one is a forum (help/ideas), BTW. Maybe this can be realized together with the group functionality (how about special groups for this?).

I really appreciate your great efforts. It's almost daily that one or another thing gets changed... :-D
