Today I spent trying to get my sh*t together. And in an effort to do so, I stumbled across
an excellent source of material. Both for my modified macro lens, and for puns!
So, whenever life gets you down, Mrs. Brown, and things seem hard or tough... head to the pile of horse manure in the compost bin and shoot the mushrooms growing there in the dark!
I went out this morning to turn the compost bins. I saw a bunch of very cool mushrooms growing there, but I was unmotivated and uninspired, and I turned them in. When I pulled back the cover of the next bin, and saw this miniscule beauty, even I couldn't convince myself not to pull the camera out and dust off the old modified macro lens (see this album for more detail).
