Due to recent re-interpretation of French law by IPER and all the suspended accounts, I am going to stop posting anymore photos to this site. They have apparently decided to be like Flickr -- no more public photos of the public taken in public. They call it "nudity", "porn", violation of privacy, etc. As we have seen, even photos of public sporting events, and I mean track and field, beach volleyball, etc., but not jello wrestling can get your account suspended. In short, the site has become inconsistent, unpredictable, and totally unreliable. For this reason, I am ceasing any further photo contributions to this site and will not be renewing my "pro" membership when the time comes.
When I shoot photos at the beach, it is not just the birds, sand dunes, turtles, etc. that I find interesting, but the people too. If I can't share with the public whatever I see in public through this site, then I will share none of it. I will not be deleting my account, but I will keep my groups intact and accept new content into them. However, I won't be searching out IPER for any new content or contacts, just keeping things going for those already here.
Unfortunately, this means there is simply no site in existence where I can share every type of photo that I shoot, be it pictures of birds, flowers, or pretty ladies. As for the latter, I'll continue posting those at the candidography site. Everything I shoot is basically "G" or very rarely "PG" equivalent material, so I will simply not allow general sites like this one and flickr to pick and choose which of my content is acceptable or not. It's all or nothing. Unless they're bought out by a different company and/or clarify and establish a reasonable policy, my decision will stand.
