My musical tastes are very wide but at the moment this is for me the best band in Spain followed closely by Psideralica(www.myspace.com/psideralica) that I am actually managing, by the way.

It appears I took a pic of a graffiti months ago here in Seville(see my Seville album). Henri banks posted this saturday a comment as you can see on the pic with variations of the original I took.

In confusion I contacted him. He admitted he had taken my picture(he never asked me) and modified it. There is no link on his picture relating to mine.

I claim that he should have consulted me before taking and modifying the pic or at least, link his to mine. He says since the "illegal" original piece(grafitti) is not mine, he should not do it and it seems he will not do it.

I would like to know your views in this regard.

I admit the street art is not mine but I made it clear since the beginning in my picture comment.

It is funny how I did get to know the person who did the graffiti and they were happy to see the result of the pic(that particular graffiti has now been painted over) because it was exactly like that, without any modification.

What do you think on this??

Apologies for not being so much around these days, mostly due to an unstable Internet connection but also due to lack of time since I am engaged in a few websites and in a few things away from the screen.

I have started tidying up pics and rediscovered "old" pics to be uploaded.

But the series I am most excited about is one series of shots I have recently taken inside an old and abandoned factory here in Seville. I enjoyed greatly my 2 trips there searching for little hidden treasures. They will be up soon, hopefully!

And thanks for all of you, specially my contacts to remain here and upload so many incredibly beautiful pics. I have stayed here admiring your shots until Ipernity´s pages of latest docs allowed me.

I am in awe and grateful for such enjoyment!! You all make me learn by looking at your pictures and this is the beauty of this website(and the other website too...).

On another note, I did get less attention and less addition of people since my display picture is no longer that attractive.

I was right on the experiment!

And my life is going on in the same sort of pear shape that it has always had and it will never change. Made enough efforts in my life and will not make any more...

I doubt it, but I rather prefer to have critics to my pics than people browsing because of a display picture that seems attractive.

EDIT: I must point out that when I say you bored me I was talking to those who massively added me, although really I doubt they will ever read this and were more in the hope of getting added and who knows what else. I just kind of needed to express it, but it was not meant to those of you with whom I have a regular contact. I thought maybe I needed to clarify this just in case.

Hi! I have received numerous silent visits during the past weeks.

I wonder what went on in your minds, what you searched for, what you saw... I have moved back to my hometown Seville after over 10 years away in London.

Not easy to come back.

I have a few clashes with my father.

I got a Russian Blue kitten from my mum. He is the best present I have had in a very long time. He is very very affectionate. And so pretty.

My city remains as beautiful as ever. Maybe even more than it used to.

I moved in with a friend. I hardly see him. He is always out.

My friends have all very different lifes from mine.

Not easy to come back.

I will hopefully start a course on Graphic Design.

I have not taken many pics. All those I have uploaded are archive ones.

Oh... And I fell in love just before coming back. He does not want to commit and I understand.

I had a kitten for a month. I had to give it away and she is now very happy with a big garden and a fellow cat...

But since she is no longer with me I have been reading about cats incessantly and I feel the need to have one. In this research, I looked for grey cats and discovered they are caled blue cats. And from that search, I discovered my love: Russian Blue cats.

A true beauty and exactly the type of temperament and needs that suit me.

If you take the time to read this and have some opinion, advice or recommendation for me, go ahead...

PS: I know it all about the "don´t buy, adopt instead". I would like to hear more about cats themselves and your experience with them.

I must apologise to all of you... And then wonder...

I have a new computer since friday with a nice 19' screen(at first I thought it was 17'...) and then I have seen my pics in a nice big screen and...

HORROR!

I mean, really they look awful! With lots of noise and imperfections and things that I never noticed were there! How can anybody actually make nice comments on them, huh? Are you feeding my vanity or is it that new screen of mine that is malfunctionning...? Thank you so much for being nice to me, but do I really deserve those comments? I welcome critics too, be sure as long as you are constructive and polite! I want to learn above all!

Well, what can I say. That screen is also panoramic and my pics and those I view are distorted. Any suggestion on what I can do to solve this issue is most welcome!

I have no clue about photography. My new Olympus E500 is collecting dust because I don't know how to use it. Need some advice and I am afraid I will actually never get it. In the meantime, I am exploiting my point and shoot Casio Exilim 500.(Why so many 500?? :O )

In any case, since I have taken photography as a new hobby, I noticed that I have developped an increasing interest for those little details in life that people usually do not or want to notice, those corners that people have forgotten, those things that time has tortured and that people ignore as they have lost a bit of their original beauty(or so it seems...), those that are let aside because they are supposed to be ugly or not worth it, those that show a bittersweet side of life and its circumstances. Are they really that hideous and deprived of charm? I do not think so. A closer look to them with affection and a second thought about what it is, what it was and what it is becoming makes me fall in love and picture decay. And then there are those shots of shadows and visual games that a new perspective from reality gives and that is available to those willing to see them. Ah, the wonders of playing with your eyes and brain! It is like looking for shapes in clouds, but taking our terrenial environment and observing it silently with a kids mind...

I find them captivating.

As I see exquisite many of the conventional beauties(sunset, animals, plants,...). Maybe it is that I am not good enough(YET!! :P ) to make those stunning landscapes pictures or I cannot use any of those big post-production tools(YET! :P ), and the only thing I can do is admire those in the work of others-at the end of the day the big photographers need admirers that are not able to picture the same way they do...-, or maybe it is because I like the fact that those impressive decadent and majestous forgotten wonders do need little manipulation because they have already been manipulated by Light, Space, Nature and Time and that, I find absolutely fascinating...

I search for them, I crave for them, I want to pay homage to them, that is all I have to offer for now...

Just that. Not much, but a lot at the same time.

I have just finished deleteing all my pics from Flickr.

No looking back and no regrets. I will just go back there to keep in touch and fave, but no more commenting nor feeding it with my pics. Doubt they will care, anyway but I do.

I like being myself. I like being true to myself. I like to follow what I think is right. Because by doing these I can offer the best of me. If I am not myself, I cannot see others. If I lie to myself, I lie to others. If I do things that do not agree with my beliefs, then I cannot demand for honesty...

I do not like manipulation. I do not like lies. I do not like hypocresy. Because these are all the same, lies and fakes and not fun. Because they are sad and worthless. Because they are always uncovered and then look ridiculous.
