between worlds

Follow her down to a bridge by a fountain
Where rocking horse people eat marshmellow pies,
Everyone smiles as you drift past the flowers,
That grow so incredibly high.
Newspaper taxis appear on the shore,
Waiting to take me away.
Climb in the back with my head in the clouds,
And i'm gone.

slightly changed version of: "lucy in the sky with diamonds" beatles

this is a transit situation, which could become a residence where i feel cozy. like many others, i'm fed up with the phoney behaviour on flickr, a.k.a. "the dark side or the other side". can't trust these people anymore, to many bad memories were awakened, to many unfullfilled promises...

wasn't the first one to discover this place ( former flickr contacts are already here, yeah ). it seems to be an intimate and friendly place. so i'll give it a try hoping to find a new 2d home, new friends maybe too. i love exchange with others, communication and i think ipernity emphasizes these things more...

i'll keep my account on the other side - after the pro one expires only the "small" version - so i don't lose contact to the great people i found there.

curious to see what will happen

raindrops blues

would love to see some recent weather pics from you ! maybe this collection will make the ones in charge for the weather change their minds !!!

what can you do when the weather gods are dating the weather girls instead of doing a good job ? stormy weather, rainy days and grey skies that's what i see outside ... anybody having some spare sunshine ?

maybe some of you prefer rain. maybe some don't like when it's getting to warm!

what do you think? will summertime return this year ? or do you have advices what to do if the weather will stay this way for the rest of the summer ?

raindrops keep fallin' on my head • and just like the guy whose feet are too big for his bed
nothin' seems to fit • those raindrops are fallin' on my head, they keep fallin'

so I just did me some talkin' to the sun • and I said I didn't like the way he got things done
sleepin' on the job • those raindrops are fallin' on my head, they keep fallin'

pragmatical household advices during summertime - part I

not every fruit is one you love to touch or even eat ! for example is biting on fur or swallowing hair something most people hate. but then what can you do when you want to eat a kiwi ? hot wax treatments are highly recommended. the wax shouldn't be too hot, as you would end up with kiwi jam ! then you shouldn't wax them for too long, as the vitamins would flee for sure. but then who cares about vitamins ?

you can also help yourself if you love the taste of peaches, but you can't stand the hairy outside ! just shave them and tataaa you end up having nectarines. you'll never have to buy nectarines again !

don't throw the hair you gained away. glue them on your frog and make it a guineapig ! the kids will love it...

please share your knowledge about clever contemporary householding with us !

appealing arousal

grenouille felt his heart pounding, and he knew it wasn't the strain of running that made it pound, but his aroused helplessness facing the presence of this scent.

grenouille spürte, wie sein herz pochte, und er wußte, dass es nicht die anstrengung des laufens war, die es pochen machte, sondern seine erregte hilflosigkeit vor der gegenwart dieses geruches.

from the perfume, das parfüm by patrick süskind

did you ever suddenly start smiling or crying listening to a song ? or did a ray of light falling on your kitchen table absorb you and you couldn't take your eyes off of it? the scent of freshly mown grass or the perfume your grandma used is pushing you back towards long forgotten memories... maybe it's the voice of somebody or the dimple in someone's cheek, the expression in somebody's eyes that are making you feel intense emotions you would hardly be able to express in any words. you can just feel them.

suddenly without noticing you're taken into another place, another emotional level . your heart is aking with a wonderful feeling of pleasure, you start floating around in this other world...

i would love to know what takes ( or took ) you into this different and wonderful parallel universe ! show your pictures, tell your stories -

LET'S DO IT !

special o_O universalist or universal specialist ?

looking at my pics i'm wondering if it's not a too huge "mixed pixels" dish i'm serving. then i'm seeing streams of others. not all, but lots are speaking one language of their own and often in a very elaborate and fascinating way. so what's better: finding one language and sticking to it and like that become a master ( but a limitated one ) or sticking ones nose curiously in every pot trying to express yourself in different, maybe new ways ?

first way, the specialist universal : is mainly working on a limited or concentrated area ( for example only nature or humans photography, still lifes etc ) or his pics have a certain kind of atmosphere ( f.e. either romantic soft or striking colourful etc ). like that the photographer is able to deepen his knowledge and skills.

second way, the universal specialist : he's able to use a bigger variaty in order to express himself ( different topics like portraits, stills, landscape etc ) and / or different atmospheres he's using. on the other hand he normaly can't reach the depth of the specialist .

which way are you following ?

ps: i'm not talking about the genius people amongst us :)

pps: sorry i'm too lazy to translate the whole text into french and german. hope you can understand, if not you can maybe use a translation program • sorry, je suis trop paresseuse pour traduire le text en francais. j'espères que vous comprenez ou peut être utilisez un program de traduire • sorry, bin zu träge den ganzen text ins deutsche zu übersetzen. ich hoffe, ihr versteht ihn oder benutzt ein übersetzungsprogramm

beam me up - the story

beam me up
beam me up

about an year ago i discovered "flickr". very fast i was fascinated by the views offered there : people from all over the world sharing their points of view, their art and opinions. i decided to be a part of it too and started a pro account. i met the most wonderful people there, people with whom i shared their every day life and also special moments. we talked and discussed as much as fooling around. this time means very much to me, a time filled with precious memories. i learned a lot and i experienced a lot... the moments spent there also helped through difficult times in my life.

the development during the last months was a tremendous disappointment for me. in the process of protesting against censorship i found out more about yahoo and its bigote policy. a policy which has fatal consequences for lots of people involved e.g. in china.

the only possible consequence for me is to quit flickr and not support yahoo in any way. my pro account there expires in less than a week ( on the 10th of sept. ). i'll need the following days to clear up that place and make my peace with my messed emotions concerning this part of my life. i'm missing the wonderful friends i met there, people who have decided to stay on flickr for their own reasons.

therefore my activity on ipernity will be much less than usual. i'll be back ! keep your fingers crossed for me and a safe return from this sad transdimensional journey...

the worst part is done now... i still need a little time to digest the last days, but i'll be back like i was, soon ! then i'll also answer your comments in this blog. thanks for your support, your good vibes and spacy words !!!

slowing down

not a big announcement and no drama.. i need time for lots of things that are going round in my head and also time for the ending phase of a job. so i won't be around as much as before. i'll keep an eye on you all and i'll be back like you know me, as soon as the water surface is mo-re quiet.

enjoy your weekend ! see you

EDIT : hey you all ... please don't misunderstand this blog. i won't leave iper for good and not even for a certain period. i just don't have so much time and energy left to spend here. but i'll be back as before, sooner than you think with a hopefully clearer mind and a lill' mo-re money to spend. thanx and cu

somewhere

bridge towards our dreams
bridge towards our dreams

I want to dissolve and get lost,
covered by the dark and gentle waves.

the water's around me • i want to be part of it ..
no beginnig, no end ... inbetween

drifting under the stars • nothing and all,
somewhere

celebrate you !!

In former times, it wasn't the so called ' Holiday Season ' … First the monkeys used to throw coconuts and swing in the jungle ; then the first humans joined in juggling mammoths , called it ' Flintstone ' and gathered around the fire ; later the Jews called this season ' Hanukka ' ( mo belongs to these guys ) and went to the synagogue and lit nine candles for eight nights, singing ; the Christians called this time of year ' Christmas ' and went to church, eating afterwards turkeys and cookies ; the atheists went to parties and drank . Monkeys and people passing each other on the " jungle " street would say ' Happy Coconut ', ' Happy Outch ', ' Happy Hanukka ! ', ' Merry Christmas ! ' or (to the atheists) ' Look out for the manhole ! ' :-DD enjoy ur holiday all you monkeys and humans out there !!!

wish you and your families bananas, joy, peace, love and light
à vous et vos proches je souhaite de bananes, de la joie , du paix , d'amour et de la lumière . ( je regrette les fautes ...)
ich wünsche euch und euren familien bananen, freude, frieden, liebe und licht
