i just started to do some uploads yesterday but didn't find the time to tag them and set the titles right. will do so soon, hopefully today.

at fl*ckr i was a member of a group that was doing a self-portrait everyday for a year (365days). that's one reason why i am having so many SPs... shooting selfs was and is also a (self)-therapy for me. the whole process from shooting, post-processing, setting titles, tags, the brainstorms inside, thoughts, description is included in this process for me*. your open comments and a dialogue is very important for me here.

most of the SPs have a depressive background and are very deep in their meaning. i came to know that my SPs and words helped a lot of people with the same issues that i have that are not able to express them or are too shy and sensitive. so i am sharing these very personal and open pictures, emotions and thoughts. Hoping they help you also.

* i just started uploading some pictures here. didn't get the time to include all important tags, titles, words, notes etc... these are very important to undestand most pictures. it's always important to see the whole picture and read between the lines when it comes to my SPs... :-)

Auf zur Teilnehmerliste und fleissig anmelden, Themen vorschlagen und bloggen, twittern, etc. :) Das Logo, Banner hab ich mal bei Zooomr reingestellt (weil Ipernity wohl das Einbinden von Bannern etc auf anderen Websites nicht wünscht, muss ich nochmal suchen). Mehr Details gibt es bei Franz. Vielen Dank an Mixxt für das schöne Wiki! Ich finde, das ist eine wesentlich schönere und komfortablere Alternative zu pbwiki.

Christians offer and some interesting talks with Christophe from Ipernity convinced me to hit the green button :)

Last night i got a nice mail from ipernity. :-)

There is a new Grease-Monkey Script now that helps you import ALL your flickr images, 200 at a click (it says, but it was "only" 5 for me?!). That's not ONE push but it's a lot quicker than importing one by one.

After having installed the GM Script go to your flickr photopage ( the index ). At the bottom of the page there is a pulldown you can choose single chunks from (parts of the import, 200 pics each). The good thing is, you don't have to import them all in one step. You can go from chunk 1-5 and then continue the next day.

It's best to have a pro account here i think, you should check your Ipernity quota first :)

Thanks to the Ipernity guys again. Their quick and efficent support is convincing me again that i am at the right place :)

I'm importing very old pictures. So please don't ask yourself what's going on here.

The new GM Script to import flickr stuff to impernity is working just fine, only i don't want all of the 3550 old pictures here, so it will take some time until i have cleaned the mess ...hope you don't get pissed by the flood :)

 

there is a new version of the flickr import script. (v1.1)

it shows thumbnails of what you are about to import.

oh and i asked IP if they could develop a set import ( flickr set -> IP albums ), we'll see... ;-)

wow! thanks to the new GM import script and the extended quota i moved all 3550 pictures from flickr to ipernity in the blink of an eye. i only have to clean up the mess here now :)

please be patient and don't feel flooded, i hope this place looks a little nicer soon. :)
