My site on ipernity is complementary with mine on Flickr but is, hopefully, more economical and selective. Even more austere is the work I post on Wikimedia Commons, which I use mainly for exposure as I am wary about allowing others to build on my work; it's used mainly as a first draft of work intended for exhibition, and therefore I do not invite viewer participation in my creative endeavors. All of my activity this summer is being organized into a museum project on "Social Networking In Service of Art," about which at least one of my friends is skeptical as to the value of such an enterprise. What do you think of the worthiness of such a project?
The year 2007 has been quite a productive year for me. Here it is now the middle of August with autumn a month or so away. I hope to have meetings with a museum director and a gallery owner about my new project in the fall. As well, I hope to apply to a few granting agencies for funds for exhibition commitments I hope to make.
I have been faithful to my schedule this year of working out six days a week at the gym, doing weight training and aerobics. I bought a Trek frame bicycle in March with about 24 speeds, enabling me to negotiate any hill in town. The gear shift works like on a motorcycle, gear selection is made on the handlebars. My weight has stabilized to 120 lbs, my BMI to around upper 19 to past the decimal point.
I encourage all who visit my pages to comment honestly on my images.
