I take the floor (48) - Tomo a palavra (48)

MY CITY

From my building's top I blink Lisboa's roofs

reticent and washed red colour warns me on coming clouds saturated of rain that falls down

and carries

my eyes sailing liquid tiles

till the tears' swirl spills over the obstructed gutter.

I take the floor (49) - Tomo a palavra (49)

The navigation starts by nightfall

and slows down at night

magnificent of solitude

global nothing at the empty sockets even from blue eyes

the sky

uncoloured as well once the optical illusion sees

blue everywhere

or maybe green

upon my word this is certainly the sea's colour

navigation's abyss

and from salvages

one can only hear the surf's

whisper.

SEA

I feel the sea's weight in every hidden crying

algae roll round all paths' legs

my eyes blink iodine's rumours

promise of beach

for all sea's watch far away

light

on its bed.

Existence

is this living

while everything fades away

joy

pain

unexpected air or poison

we breathe.

Friends artificially

laugh

and stray from crying

with us.

Existence

is this living all moments

whatever they are

they are ours

egoistically

ours

either the friends turn up

or

simply

forget us.
