I take the floor (16) - Tomo a palavra (16)

Algarve, Quarteira, sea sidewalk
Algarve, Quarteira, sea sidew…

The navigation begins at the end of the day

and slows down by night

full of loneliness

the global nothing inside empty eye sockets even from blue eyes

the sky

also without colour that the optical illusion sees

blue everywhere

or maybe green

upon my word it is certainly the colour of the sea

navigation's abyss

and from the salvage

we can only hear the whisper

of surf.

Algarve, sea view from Resort Praia Verde
Algarve, sea view from Resort…

I take the floor (17) - Tomo a palavra (17)

 (English translation)

I love everything was gone

everything that isn't anymore

the pain that doesn't hurt me

the old and erroneous faith

the yesterday that left pain

what left joy

because it was gone and flown

and today is another day.

Teresa Barbieri, painter (d. 2000) - pintora (f. 2000)

Moorish Town (painting)
Moorish Town (painting)

The opera singer and painter Teresa Barbieri was alive not for a long time (d. 2000), however her posthumous work is long-lasting and surprising. She uses light tones and much sepia that denote a strong feminine sensitivity spilled on frequent landscapes and urban clusters (her dominant themes), arranged on the canvas with the rigour, the imagination, and the simplicity of opera' scenarios.

Painter of impressionist roots she allows that an unfinished luminosity come up from her paints to complete itself under the moved and attentive look from whom watch them.

Sintra (painting)
Sintra (painting)

I take the floor (18) - Tomo a palavra (18)

The dawn throbs into my veins

sclerosis of dreams

sex still at the pace of an engine close to the limits

to drive me away

without grief

from the night that dies

in the foreseen chance

of a day following another.

Facsimile of the invitation for the new titlle session of "Sinfonia em Dor Menor "
Facsimile of the invitation fo…

A madrugada lateja-me nas veias

no acaso previsto

de um dia a seguir a outro.
