I take the floor (5) - Tomo a palavra (5)

The word's power

My 2nd book
My 2nd book

Text

every time more laconic

and simple

without drama

nor pain

trickle of crystalline water

depurated by life

everyone should drink.

 Clean words like recent tear

plain like naked body

precise like frequent pain

undressed till being a bird inside the emotion

naked words

fly

through the never coming joy

into the past sensation

is difficult they fly forever.

 Blank sheet

letter by letter written

futile wording

of indefinite and short thinking.

///

Texto

cada vez mais breve

e simples

sem drama

nem dor

fio de água cristalina

depurada pela vida

que toda a gente beba

Palavras limpas como lágrima recente

simples como corpo nu

precisas como dor frequente

despidas até serem pássaro dentro da emoção

palavras nuas

voam

na alegria que não chega a ser

na sensação que já foi

é difícil que voem para sempre.

Folha branca

letra a letra escrita

na palavra fútil

do pensamento vago e breve.

Words ... They'll never say, what I really want to express ... Futile trials of communication with the outside world to show my inside world, always knowing, that it is in vain. And yet ... I can't stop ...

Words are far too powerful, regarding the fact that they are mostly useless and overrated.

I like your poems. :-)

And yet the word is a weapon! "Everything is worthy if the soul is not small", said Fernando Pessoa, the biggest Portuguese poet after Luís Vaz de Camões. Thank you for your precise words!

Words are manifestation of the mind. The way they come out is another matter.

I agree to you. The words are a mental exercise...the way they come out is a matter of imagination and sensitivity. Thank you Evelyn!
