Just discovered why images processed with LightRoom on my notebook always look so pale when uploaded. I exported them with the ProPhoto RGB color space. This is appearently not supported by several browsers without adjustment of the settings (in Firefox go to about:config and set gfx.color_management.enabled to True). Exporting with the sRGB color space works fine without the need to tweak the browser.
