and I replied:

I'd love to have this job. Now I don't know QuickBooks, but how hard can it be? I'd love to learn and I will pick it up fast. Before my 25 years as an administrative assistant I was in accounts and did payroll (my boss has been my best friend for 28 years now).

My resume is attached for your perusal. My 8 year job with HP, I was kinda forced to give it up. I worked from home for 4 of those years, I got a new manager and she told me to either move back to VA to work in the office or give my job up. I love Tucson, so I gave my job up, besides I wanted less stress in my life and she wasn't the easiest person to support. I got a receptionist role in a realtor office on the weekends straight away, got a per diem job in a Wellness Clinic within Raytheon (still to get a shift) and a bulk mailing job that gives me 8-10 hours every other week. Another part time role for 2 full days or 3 afternoons would be fantastic.

C'mon, give me an interview, you are gonna love me!

BTW I have just about nuked all the 'crap' coming in to the email account I created for job hunting, it is now my SOC email account. Besides I don't want a full time job, the right part time job will come along, as the quote says above: "Once you make a decision, the universe conspires to make it happen"
