Nachdenkliches Pfingstgedicht

Die Heckenrose greift nicht zum Kalender,
Um festzustellen, wann der Lenz beginnt.
Die Schwalben finden heim in ihre Länder.
Ihr "Reiseführer" ist der Maienwind.

Der kleinste Käfer rüstet sich im Grase
Und weiß auch ohne Weckeruhr Bescheid.
Die Frösche kommen pünktlich in Ekstase.
Und auch die Schmetterlinge sind bereit.
Im Stalle blöken neugeborene Schafe,
Und junge Entlein tummeln sich im Bach.
Der Wald erwacht aus seinem Winterschlafe
Ganz ohne Kompaß oder Almenach.

Ein Badehöschen flattert von der Stange.
Es riecht nach Maitrank, Bohnerwachs und Zimt.
Die Kaffeegärten rüsten zum Empfange.
Der Lenz beginnt. Es dauert ziemlich lange,
Bis ihn das Menschenherz zur Kenntnis nimmt.
Und Blüten treibt. (Sofern das Datum stimmt.)
