I have a very dear friend, Tina, who keeps wanting me to strive with people who are viciously opposed to the word of God, to Christ, and to Christians.........the Bible tells us to share the gospel and then to shake the dust off our feet if it's rejected. I think there is a very good reason for this. For one thing, you can spend a lifetime trying to "help" someone come to Christ and there would be legions of others you never get around too. For another, the Bible plainly says there are different kinds of hearts. You see this in the parable of the sower and the seed.......some people, I'm convinced, just LIKE being sinners......they LIKE doing what they want to do when they want to do it without any kind of reprimand or any consequences and so much of what they do, the only consequences they count are the words they hear from others. So they figure, no words, no consequences.......they love their sin. That's all there is too it.

So to you Christians out there who want to "help" people who don't want to be helped, maybe you should consider what the Bible says and shake off the dust. The last thing we want in heaven are those who would try to recreate the earth once they got there. God knows who these people are and what they have in their hearts.......it's not our place to do anything more than to share the good news and hope it lands on some good soil.
