Dancing In The Same Town Forever
Bebe says he prefers to read me when I write about my past. I'm not exactly sure why. He also told me that when we met and we were sharing our secrets that we'd prolly only exposed 10% to each other. That was a rather broad statement I thought. I considered the idea then told him, no. I told him I'd already shared everything of importance from my past with him. That anything left wasn't worth repeating. That I'd already exposed everything about myself on the web too. Self published chronicles are in place all over. A good number of you know exactly what I mean.
Last night I was at party with a green theme for wardrobe.I had little advance notice about the event so I decided to go in what I had on already. I was wearing:
- leather boots by Blowfish
- leather car coat from Eddie Bauer
- paisley sweater - Jones New York
- italinan merino wool cardigan - Tweeds
All from China when I checked this morning. bad, bad josie.
I do know now the terrible consequences of leather from China and I'll be wearing that coat a long, long time to come to try to make up for it.
- Levis from Walmart
Jeans made in Pakistan, about the only product I get via Walmart. I'm mostly in on the boycott.
- camisole - Ann Taylor
- undergarments - Gap Body
All from Sri Lanka.
In order to be completely PC I could keep the undergarments and shop from these lines: socially conscious clothing
Nice but mostly a bit immature for a woman of my season and pricey. Tho I'd love to travel to Berlin and pick up some Fin.
So yeah.
After being out and about in the little town I've chosen to live in since 1974. Being out and seeing. Seeing who married whom and how it turned out. All in a room my sister and I used to rent for after hours parties so long ago. Some of the same people in attendance last night. After that experience I'm reminded there are more stories to tell but I'd have to fictionalize them.
Not sure what I'll be wearing next time.
