After having heard several (positive) voices about ipernity, I thought why not check yourself. Furthermore I should be learning for my CISCO exams...and all of you know how creative one can be, if one has to learn... ;)

However I'm curios about ipernity's features. Let's see how long it takes me to discover a good portion of them.

But for now, I think I should fight my inner lazy-boy and start learning...

In July and August a friend of mine and I went to Zambia to do some IT related voluntary work. Initially we went there to set up an internet café, which is meant to be an income generating project for the foundation "Give the children of Mpongwe a future" (http://www.mpongwe.nl). Right now the only source of finance for all the projects the foundation is doing, are donations. The internet café would be a new source making the foundation more independent, even being able to do more.

Unfortunately the building (the guest house - another income generating project) was not finished by the time we arrived. So we did some other things.

Besides the work and all the very kind Zambians we were given the opportunity to meet, we've experienced a lot of visual impressions. Those I'd like to share here.

I'm afraid I have become adicted...ipernity adicted. ;)

In times that one has to learn, to study a lot, one is indeed doing a lot....of other things. Right now ipernity is my "other things". So many wonderfull photographs to explore. Medicine for eyes and soul.

Let me try to get back to learning stuff.

It's awful, it's horrible, it's...much to early to be awak on a saturday! ;)

But i hope is worth the sacrifice and SFF (Swedish furniture friend ;)) will accept me helping them carrying things and in return they will help me save some money...

Then let me just shave me feet, brush my ears, iron my shoes and eat my important documents before I leave.

To be honest: It's not saturday any more... :P

Shame on you alboe! Can't you be serious on single time? Nope! :P

Anyways...The job interview was successful, it was even fun! I really like the Ikea way of working together. Making jokes here and there during a job interview. Try that somewhere else!

Further I gave it a try to get my first LPI (101) certificate. Just have to wait (for 3 to 6 weeks) for the results. Let's see if I've passed.

And lastly? But not leastly? :P I think that perhaps under some circumstances, you know, I mean it could be that it's a bit late and should just go to bed...should go to bed happy, because it has been a nice day.

Der Nacht größter Feind der Tag ist. Gleichfalls ist es ebenso. Sie jagen sich Tag ein, Tag aus, Nacht ein, Nacht aus. In der Mitte zwischen beiden, sei mir geraten was zu tun? Beide mag ich sie gut leiden, den Tag zum Wachen, die Nacht zum Ruhn'. Andersherum ist es ebenso. Was des Tages Sonnenschein, Energie und Lebendigkeit, ist der Nacht Anonymität, Ruhe und Mysteriösität. Ein Spaziergang, gehüllt in warme Stoffe, durch's diffuse Licht der Nacht allein mit meinen Gedanken, aber auch das Lichtbad in warm erleuchteter Natur, sind Genus für mich schranken-los.

Dankbar, sehr, für alle zwei, begeb ich mich zu Bette und jede Wette scheint der Tag mit seiner Sonne, mir morgen fröhlich AUF DEN WAMPS! :P

Ogurek, ogurek, ogurek ma zielony garniturek. Czapke i sandały zielony, zielony jest cały.

Just remembered this one. (Klaudia taught me several years ago. :)) Since I don't know how to write polish, I just asked Mr. Google ("ogurek ma zielony") and to prevent losing it again, just eternalize it here.

As you can see (on the right) my birthday is approaching. Since people are used to give me presents and/or money on that day (I don't know why :P), I'll ask all of them to throw their money into one pot. Me'll throw some xtra coins into and afterwards I will try to swap that pot with a zoomlens somewhere. ;)
