Hamster Fact: Since a hamsters eyesight is so bad, it makes up for it in other ways. It's long whiskers help it to find its way in the dark by brushing against objects. It senses where they are with its sensitive whiskers almost like a walking cane for a blind person. Not only are the whiskers located on its face but also along the sides of the body too. I suppose those blend in with the normal coat, because I cant see them.
