My philosophy about my work

Thursday March 19, 2009 at 01:15AM

I was given eyes to see many beautiful things like sunsets, nice cars, beautiful architecture and the human body, both female and male amongest other things. They are all just forms and shapes in the universe.

A photo or painting or any art media is just that nothing more nor less. If you look at my work and find it "dirty" or some sort of porn, that is what you are bringing to it. That is your own baggage not mine. If you cannot see and enjoy the beauty of the human body regardless of sex, then move on.

I never cease to be amazed that we will buy our children video games that mame and kill others and think nothing of it. Let them see a nude photo or art work and they shreik in horror about the ruination of humanity. That is ludicrious. The human form is something they see everyday, in themselves, at the beach and in those games you buy them or allow them to play. Do not expect me to babysit or censor my work for your children. If you are concerned with what they see on the internet or anywhere, then sit with them and channel what and where they surf yourself.

The Sistine chapel in Rome is covered with nudes. Though my work does not compare to Michaelangelo the concept is the same.

If you are offended, homophobic or femophobic, by my work, don't look, go look at other photos or art work.
