Cuba

I made two trips through the whole country 2005 and 2007 (the last bigger trip with my old Minolta X700). The posted images are scans from slides, so I apologize for the rather bad qualitiy.......But I really love this country and so I "must" do it......

Patagonia

Cuba is almost "finished", hope you enjoyed some of the impressions. Next "project" will be Patagonia primarily and some other parts of Argentina and Chile. "Project" means I will scan the slides of our adventure in the year 2000, when we travelled from Buenos Aires to Salta in the north-west and the Puna plateau in the Andes, then south along and in the Andes Mountains till Tierra del Fuego and the most southern City of the earth, Ushuaia, about 8000 km by car. Your comments - and critiques - are welcome.

After a short start in Buenos Aires we took a flight to the northwest of Argentina, to Salta. From there we rented a car and went up to about 4200 m altitude (too fast, I admit), to the Puna and San Antonio de los Cobres.

Now finally we crossed the Rio Colorado, south from here Patagonia begins with the Provincia Neuquén.

South Patagonia, many treasures are waiting in the area of Lago Viedma and Lago Argentina, El Chaltén, where we have seen strange giant clouds or the calving Glaciar Perito Moreno.
