I haven't taken too many pictures lately. It is our busy season at work, and I don't get out much. A week ago my wife and I took a trip to Columbus, Nebraska to visit a friend, and I hoped to photograph some Loup Public Power District substations. However, once my wife and our friend started talking, it was all over! The Loup Public Power District has 34.5-kv lines all over Columbus. Nearby, the Cornhusker Public Power District has 34.5-kv lines too. There is also the old Northwestern Public Service Company power plant I need to photograph again. Lastly, I have been collecting historical items about different utility holding companies, especially Middle West Utilities, North American Light & Power Company, and United Light & Power Company. I would like to organize my photos, maps, and sources into some sort of a workable text.
